With the support of clients, their families, the local community and of course, the dedicated New Forest team – they raised an impressive £380! The campaign is dedicated to raising vital funds and increasing awareness for those living with dementia and the families who care for them.
The event was a real community affair. Clients and their families joined in for tea, cake, and chatter alongside two of their local GP Care Navigators and even the local postmen, who dropped by to show their support.
A fun raffle added an extra spark to the afternoon, with lots of smiling faces and people enjoying getting involved!
Registered Manager Jan Calderon-Daniels shared her thoughts on the day:
“We raised about £380 for the Alzheimer’s Society with the help of our clients, their families and the rest of the team. It was an honour to have everyone come along and spend the afternoon with us. It was so lovely to see people getting involved with the raffle too.”
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this such a warm, welcoming, and successful event. Your kindness and generosity will go a long way in supporting the work of the Alzheimer’s Society.
