I’ve been named a finalist in the prestigious NatWest Encouraging Women into Franchising (EWiF) Awards 2025! Being recognised in these awards, which celebrate the incredible achievements of women in the UK franchising sector, is huge!
This year, I have been shortlisted in the New Woman Franchisee of the Year category, which acknowledges my achievements since opening the business at the end of 2023. This nomination is truly special to me as it highlights the hard work, dedication, and passion that I’ve poured into my branch of GoodOaks in Bedford.
Since launching the branch, my focus has always been on providing outstanding care to our clients while building a supportive and nurturing team. I believe that franchising is a fantastic way to combine entrepreneurial spirit with meaningful, people-focused work. It has been an incredible journey, and I am so proud of what we have achieved together.
To be named a finalist among such inspiring and accomplished women in franchising is both humbling and motivating. It reaffirms my commitment to continuing to grow our business, support our team, and make a positive impact in our community.
Helen Mansfield, the organiser of the NatWest EWiF Awards, shared how competitive this year’s selection process was, with a record number of entries from across the UK. Being recognised in such a strong field of candidates is truly an achievement in itself!
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 15th May in London, where I’ll be celebrating alongside other inspiring women who are making waves in the franchising world. No matter the outcome, I already feel like a winner simply by being part of this experience.
