After a recent inspection, GoodOaks Aylesbury, has been awarded GOOD across all areas after CQC carried out their inspection in March this year. The Aylesbury office is run by Fiza Bukhari and Registered Manager Carlene Daniels who are both extremely experienced in the care sector.
A rating of GOOD in all areas is a huge achievement and something that takes dedication, hard work, time and passion.
CQC is the independent regulator for health and social care in the UK and their role is to ensure people are provided with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care. They do this by monitoring, inspecting and rating service providers.
The inspectors are looking at the following key areas across the board and rate the service based the the following points:
Is the service safe?
Is the service effective?
Is the service caring?
Is the service responsive?
Is the service well-led?
Taking some excerpts from the report it shows that overall, people’s experience of using GoodOaks Aylesbury told inspectors that staff were caring, compassionate and provided safe care. The office also received several compliments regarding the approach of staff. One family member advised, “We are really satisfied with this service…we’re happy with them and feel [relative] is in good hands.” Staff, people and families told how the service was well-managed and indicated the management of the service was accessible, supportive and approachable.
Clients felt comfortable with the care professionals who were suitably inducted, trained and supported. One client told CQC, “I have a small team that comes to see me. I get a weekly timetable and they are pretty much on time within it.”
Overall a brilliant rating and the team are delighted. This is a true reflection on the quality care they provide and the approach the team takes to ensure clients and their families receive the best care possible.
