A few weeks ago, the local Visiting and Live-in Care provider, set up a stall to support the Horsham Hospital Summer Fete, organised by the League of Friends.
Registered Nurses, Marilou Apa and Maricel Trinidad, who co-run the branch, wanted to get involved to support the amazing work of the NHS hospital staff, and do something to support their local communities in and around Horsham and beyond.
Their stall raised £100, with a second hand book sale and a game of ‘what’s in the box’. This is where you put your hand inside a box and try to feel what’s inside, before taking a guess!
Other entertainment on the day was live music, face painting and a bouncy castle. There was something for everyone to enjoy.
Director Marilou commented: “We had a brilliant day. The kids love the game, wondering what was inside the box and using their sense of touch and smell. The weather was great, and it was brilliant to see different ages and generations playing games whilst raising money for our local hospital.”
