Supporting dementia care in the Barnet community
The dementia cafe, delivered in partnership with Bridging London, takes place on the first Monday of each month from 2pm to 4pm at the Friends Meeting House on Leicester Road.
It provides a relaxed and informal setting where people living with dementia, along with their families and carers, can spend time together, connect with others and access support.
Each session includes refreshments, conversation and a range of activities designed to encourage participation and social connection.
A dementia advisor is also available to offer guidance and answer questions, providing reassurance for those navigating a diagnosis or supporting a loved one.
