GoodOaks Reading and West Berks honours the Suicide Prevention Day

Nothing brings people together better than meeting up for a cup of tea, a slice of cake and a catch up! That is exactly what branch Directors Alan and Janet Hounsell decided to do recently, all in aid of Breast Cancer Research.
The local fundraiser event warmly welcomed clients, family and care teams together to enjoy an afternoon tea with bunting, fine china and sandwiches. They were also paid a visit by group Operations Director Zoe Kelly, who travelled from Poole for the occasion along with neighbouring branch Owner and Registered Manager Fiza and Carlene who came along from the GoodOaks Aylesbury branch to support the event.
Abingdon branch owner Alan Hounsell said ‘ we thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and it was a pleasure to spend time with everyone, enjoying each other’s company, chatting and raising money for a very worthy cause’.
