A couple of weeks ago, the Aylesbury team hosted a superb afternoon tea at their office in Oxford Rd, Aylesbury. The purpose of the event was to raise funds to support clients, others living with Alzheimer’s and those who care for them. It was also a valuable opportunity to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s – A progressive condition which affects a person’s brain. Alzheimer’s disease is the most common cause of dementia, therefore a very worthy cause.
Among the guests were GoodOaks clients, care teams, office staff and the event even brought in people from other offices in the building!
Branch Director Fiza Bukhari said “It was a real pleasure to plan this event and we are delighted with how it went. There is not enough support out there for people who are caring for loved ones living with Alzheimer’s and we wanted to show our support for a cause that is close to our hearts. Being able to spend time with our clients, care professionals and their families was a real treat“.
