With around 45 people attending, it was a great turnout and a brilliant evening for a very important cause.
The quiz was hosted by Michelle Reade, our Franchise Support Manager, and featured a variety of rounds including general knowledge, music, food and drink, history and geography, plus a picture round. The music round proved especially challenging, but the teams were up for it and put in all their effort.
Later in the evening, once the drinks were flowing, things took a livelier turn with a bonus scavenger hunt, which got everyone involved and added a fun twist to the night!
The event also featured a well-supported raffle, with prizes generously donated by the local community. Attendees had the chance to win everything from Tank Museum tickets and Snowtrax vouchers, to salon treatments, plants, chocolates, prosecco, and more.
Congratulations to the winning team, Quiz McQuiz Face, who took home the bragging rights on the night.
The total amount raised for the charity was over £250 – a truly excellent effort.
Thank you to everyone who came along, donated prizes, and supported the event. It was a great way to raise money for Dementia UK, and we’re pleased to share that plans are already in motion for another quiz night later this year.
