The branch team is participating in the 60 Miles for Dementia Challenge, a nationwide fundraising initiative that raises money for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity.

Throughout June, team members will be clocking up the miles to help raise awareness of dementia and generate funds for the charity’s network of Admiral Nurses.

As a provider of high-quality homecare services, GoodOaks Homecare Leicestershire South understands the challenges that dementia can bring for individuals and their loved ones. The team is proud to support a cause that provides practical guidance, expert advice and emotional support to families navigating a dementia diagnosis.

Supporting an important cause

Dementia affects hundreds of thousands of families across the UK, creating challenges that can impact every aspect of daily life.

Dementia UK works to ensure that no family faces dementia alone, offering specialist support through its Admiral Nurses and helpline services.

By taking part in the challenge, the team at GoodOaks Homecare Leicestershire South hopes to contribute to this important work while helping to raise awareness within the local community.

How to support the challenge

The branch is encouraging local residents, clients, families and community partners to get behind the challenge throughout June.
