GoodOaks South Oxfordshire proudly acknowledged in newly published book

We are delighted to share a special moment of recognition for GoodOaks Homecare South Oxfordshire, which has been acknowledged in a recently published book by author Kate McLoughlin, Silence: A Literary History.

Silence: A Literary History

Published by Oxford University Press, Silence: A Literary History explores the role of silence across centuries of literature. In the acknowledgements, Kate kindly thanks Jan, Alan, Becky and the team from GoodOaks Homecare South Oxfordshire for the support they provided to her family and for “helping to keep us afloat”.

Branch Directors Jan and Alan Hounsell, alongside Registered Manager Becky Stevenson, lead a dedicated local care team who work every day to provide compassionate, reliable homecare that supports people to live well at home. The team provides high quality live-in care across South Oxfordshire, including Didcot, Henley-on-Thames and Wallingford.

We are incredibly proud of the South Oxfordshire team and grateful to Kate for taking the time to acknowledge GoodOaks in her work. Moments like this highlight the difference relationship led, person centred care can make, not only for those receiving care, but for their families too.
