GoodOaks Wimbledon and Kingston recently had their first CQC inspection. They rated the branch ‘Good’ across all areas in their report, commenting: “People were supported in a manner that maintained their dignity, confidentiality and privacy. They consented to the care provided to them and were supported to maintain their independence and to make choices about their daily living.”
The CQC report added: “People and their relatives were happy with the care and support provided. Comments included, ‘My relative is happy with the support she’s getting from the carers;’ ‘The couple of carers we have are very good’ and ‘[Relative] definitely feels safe from the help she is getting.'”
Director of GoodOaks Homecare Wimbledon and Kingston, Arpan Patel, said: “We are incredibly proud to have received such a glowing report from the CQC. This is our first report and it’s a testament to the hard work of our entire team and carers. We are passionate about providing the very best care – we always ask ourselves, ‘is this care good enough for our parents?’ That’s how we look after everyone as if they were our family.
“Our carers are a wonderful and caring group, and their enthusiasm and dedication has seen so many glowing reviews come in. Since we opened in September last year, we have had such a positive response from the community, with people recommending us to friends and family. We are so proud of the work we are doing in the community, and we are looking forward to continuing the good work.”
