It’s been a busy start to Autumn at our Good Oaks offices. Staff have been busy planning events to support the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Last Friday, Good Oaks Bournemouth and Poole held their Macmillan Coffee Morning at the Good Oaks offices in Poole. The event was attended by MP for Bournemouth West, Conor Burns, and raised £116 for the charity.
The team at Good Oaks Reading welcomed local MP for Reading East, Matt Rodda, to their coffee morning. Matt praised the home care office as “a benchmark for quality service in Reading” in his acceptance of their invitation.
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event. In 2018, the charity raised £26,914,382.
Staff at Good Oaks New Forest took part in a Memory Walk for the Alzheimer’s Society in Bournemouth. The route took them between Bournemouth and Boscombe Piers and the team was lucky enough to enjoy some late summer sunshine and blue skies.
Good Oaks New Forest raised an impressive £274.50 for the Alzheimer’s Society.
