Recently, one of our care professionals in GoodOaks Homecare South Warwickshire noticed that a client they support was feeling a little disappointed. She had always loved watching the birds when she lived in her house, but after moving into a flat and as her eyesight worsened, she was no longer able to see them clearly from her window.
Rather than letting this small but important joy slip away, the care team came up with a simple solution. They bought a bird feeder that could be attached outside her window, bringing the birds much closer and back into view.
It was a small change, but it made a big difference. The client was able to enjoy watching the birds again, reconnecting with something that had always brought her happiness.
