Glasgow South connects at Talking Points event

The local GoodOaks team recently took part in an important community event

The recent event, focused on “getting to know your care providers,” was hosted by East Renfrewshire Carers Centre and the SDS Forum East Renfrewshire. The event brought together more than 20 local care and support providers, giving residents the opportunity to explore the wide range of services available in their community.

The team’s stand was busy throughout the day, with families, carers, and professionals stopping by to learn more about how GoodOaks helps people live safely and independently in their own homes.

Many visitors were particularly interested in their free health monitoring service, which provides an extra layer of reassurance for clients and their loved ones, as well as our flexible approach to homecare and respite support.

Branch Director Nabeel Khan said, “It was fantastic to connect directly with members of the local community, answer questions about care options, and share information about Self-Directed Support (SDS) and other funding pathways available in East Renfrewshire. Events like this are a vital way to build awareness, provide guidance, and strengthen relationships across the care sector.”

As a locally owned and operated business, being part of this event was especially meaningful. The GoodOaks Homecare Glasgow South team would like to thank the organisers and everyone who came along to speak with them.

They forward to continuing to support individuals and families across East Renfrewshire and Glasgow South with professional, compassionate homecare that truly makes a difference.
