We’re thrilled to announce that we have been nominated as a finalist in the sought after Dorset Business Awards, in the ‘Scale-Up’ category!
We were founded in Dorset in 2011, by two care professionals and our HQ, as well as our flagship branch of GoodOaks, is in Poole.
These awards celebrate excellence within our local business community and are open to organisations of all sectors and sizes. It’s a real privilege to be recognised in this category alongside so many other outstanding businesses.
The nomination in the ‘Scale-Up’ category reflects the significant strides we’ve made in our growth journey. Key to our success has been our You Are Not Alone campaign, which has not only raised awareness around the stresses and strains of caring for a loved one at home, but also driven our commitment to providing compassionate care to those who need it most.
Additionally, we’ve forged strong local partnerships and collaborations with Bournemouth University and AECC UC to collaborate on ground breaking research projects around nutrition and dementia and simulated learning. Both have enabled us to expand our reach and impact within the community and in turn, roll out across the sector.
Investing in franchise recruitment has also played a crucial role in our growth. By attracting dedicated and passionate franchise partners, we’ve been able to scale our operations while maintaining the high standards of care that GoodOaks is known for. We were able to showcase partnerships and collaborations that we’ve been involved with and how this has underpinned our growth.
