Home Care Awards 2024 – Winner
- Nutrition and Hydration – We have been working on a collaboration with Bournemouth University on an exciting project about NUTRITION AND DEMENTIA AT HOME – or PROJECT TOMATO. The project is funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research and aims to improve nutrition and at home for people living with dementia.
- Learning and Development – We launched the GoodOaks Care Academy, a free online training hub with over 30 free courses for paid and unpaid carers. We also developed a brand new, interactive in-house training course designed to simulate what it’s like to not only live with dementia, but care for someone who has dementia.

Dorset Care Awards 2024 – Winner
- Excellence in Social Care Training – Our dementia training allows people to gain understanding of how it feels to live with symptoms of dementia and how it impacts day to day life.
- Sustainability and Environmental award – We’re proud to be the only homecare provider in the UK (that we’re aware of!) that offsets all its carbon emissions.
We do this by tracking our care professionals’ and managers mileage and our office emissions. We work with a third party to independently verify our work, and calculate our footprint in tonnes and then invest in certified green projects and local tree planting in the UK to offset our carbon footprint.
