Around 20 clients joined the team for the afternoon, making the most of the sunshine and relaxed atmosphere. It was an opportunity for clients to connect with each other, their care teams, and support staff outside of their usual routines by catching up over tea, cake, and even a Mr Whippy from the visiting ice cream van!
There was photo booth themed signage encouraging plenty of fun photos, while a chalkboard invited clients to share what they most enjoy about summer, with answers ranging from eating outside, enjoying ice cream in Blandford to swimming in the sea.
Transport was provided to and from the venue, ensuring everyone could attend comfortably and no one was left out.
Registered Manager Rachael Dormer said:
“It was great to see everyone enjoying the afternoon in a different setting. We absolutely love these events and really try our best to encourage conversations and laughs. It all contributes to the strong sense of community we aim to achieve at each of our events.”
