GoodOaks Homecare Wimbledon, Kingston, Richmond and Wandsworth – is proud to announce that we received recognition across three categories at the Merton Best Business Awards 2026, including a win for Employee of the Year.

As a local, CQC-regulated provider of visiting and live-in homecare in Wimbledon and across Merton and south-west London, recognition from our own community means a great deal to us. Our achievements included:

  • Winner – Employee of the Year: Our Registered Manager, Sujina Hannan
  • Runner-up – Best SME Business
  • Highly Commended – Employment Champion

Sujina Hannan named employee of the year

Sujina has been our Registered Manager since before the branch opened its doors in 2020. Over that time, she has taken on almost every role in the service, from planning visits to stepping in on care calls herself.

What sets Sujina apart is how she looks after the people who look after others. She knows our care professionals by name, understands their strengths and recognises when they need a little extra support. She makes sure they are properly trained, listened to and never left to cope alone.

A care professional who feels supported is more confident, more settled and better equipped to provide consistent care. For clients, that means familiar faces, reliable routines and someone who genuinely gets to know them.

It is recognition Sujina would never seek for herself, which makes this award all the more deserved.

Why a supported team means better care at home

Our Employment Champion commendation reflects something we believe strongly: the way we treat our care professionals shapes the care our clients receive.

We invest in recognised qualifications and specialist training, including dementia and palliative care. We thoughtfully match care professionals with clients, giving relationships time to grow, and keep our teams small enough that no one gets lost.

The result is relationship-led home care, where the same trusted people can support your loved one week after week. We believe continuity, understanding and trust are essential to helping people feel comfortable and supported in their own homes.

Our recognition as Runner-up for Best SME Business also reflects the dedication of our whole team and the steady growth of our service, while keeping quality and trust at the heart of everything we do.

The homecare services we provide across south-west London

From our base in The Broadway, we support people living in Wimbledon, Kingston, Richmond, Wandsworth and the surrounding areas.

Our services include:

  • Visiting care: From short calls to longer visits, providing help with personal care, meals, medication and getting out and about.
  • Live-in care: A dedicated care professional lives in the home, providing ongoing support and helping your loved one maintain their familiar routines and independence.
  • Dementia care: Delivered by care professionals trained to support people living with dementia with patience, understanding and compassion.
  • Companionship: Regular conversation, outings and a friendly face for people who would benefit from extra social contact.
  • Respite care: Giving family carers time to rest and recharge, knowing their loved one is being supported.

Every care plan is built around the individual, their routines and what matters most to them. We take time to understand each person’s circumstances so that the support we provide is personal, thoughtful and appropriate to their needs.

Thank you to our community

Our thanks go to Merton Chamber of Commerce and the awards team for this recognition, and above all to our clients, families and care professionals. These achievements belong to the whole GoodOaks Homecare team.
