This simple check helps spot potential health issues early, often before symptoms are noticeable – giving clients and their families peace of mind and helping to prevent unnecessary hospital visits.
Our free health checks are just one part of our mission to provide reliable, responsive, and preventative care for every client. These checks take just a few minutes, but can make a big difference.
Our trained care professionals check:
- Blood pressure
- Respiration rate
- Oxygen saturation
- Heart rate and temperature
Using a compact set of Bluetooth-connected devices, our care professionals can measure vital signs such as blood pressure, oxygen levels, pulse, and breathing rate in just a few minutes.
The system instantly analyses these results using the NHS-developed National Early Warning Score (NEWS2) and provides an easy-to-understand traffic-light score showing whether everything is normal or if further checks may be needed.
This technology can also support urine analysis, helping to detect infections such as UTIs early – a common cause of illness and hospitalisation in older adults. By picking up small changes before they become big problems, the Blue Box helps clients stay safe, independent, and out of hospital for longer.
