As the Coronavirus continues to spread, this is a worrying time for clients, their families, and our home care teams.
At Good Oaks, our focus is on keeping people safe and well, and enabling clients to be safe at home during this period of self-isolation and social distancing.
We want to reassure clients and families that we are putting in place protective measures to prevent both staff and clients from becoming unwell.
We have been carefully following advice from Public Health England and working with staff and clients to ensure soap and hot water are provided to staff and clients to stop the transmission of the virus.
We have written to clients updating them on the situation on a couple of occasions and will continue to do so as the situation develops.
We have also worked with partners to draw up contingency plans to minimise any possible service disruption from the government’s social distancing strategy, and from people becoming unwell.
For advice on Coronavirus symptoms and tips on prevention, please go to the NHS website or Public Health England. It is important to keep up-to-date with developments, as official guidance is changing daily.
