Hear from one of our Care Coordinators, Eloise

Care Coordinator

I had been working in the care sector for years working as a care professional and also as a Team Leader and it felt like a natural progression to the role of Care Coordinator. I knew I always wanted to stay in touch with my team and the clients, some I’d known and worked with for years, so when I saw the job description I knew it was the right role for me.

Everyday is different and you never know what each day will bring. I am the main point of contact for our clients as I know their care plans and the care professionals that visit them. I update our clients with any changes and ensure everyone is in the right place at the right time.

I never thought I’d say it but I really enjoy working in an office environment, it’s lovely to be surrounded by like minded people who want to help our community but also have fun at the same time. No two days are the same which I love as I never get the chance to be bored! I really enjoy the challenge and using my brain in a different way. I’ve built up great relationships with my colleagues and clients over the years and I love that I still get to speak to them all on a regular basis.

Would this role suit you?

This role is suited for someone who is extremely organised and proactive, it’s essential that you are able to multitask and think on your feet. It’s important that you have experience and an understanding of the care sector. You should have great people skills as a lot of the role requires interaction with both clients and our care professionals.
