Our digital infrastructure

Part of our commitment to operating within a fast-moving, digital world is ensuring our franchise partners and care staff work with systems that are fit for purpose. Our award-winning GoodOaks Operating System (GOOS) has been designed to make the lives of our franchise partners easier and to make key information easier to access quickly.

 

We’ll set you up on the GOOS; a visual, interactive, easily searchable repository of procedures, policies, guidance, advice and information. It enables your teams to self-serve the information and support they need as well as enabling real-time updates in response to legislation, guidance and evolving best practice. 

 

From adding medication to a care plan, to finding brand assets and template documents, our teams simply have a gander at the GOOS. 🐤

Our automated processes ensure our franchise partners and their teams have more time for what matters – connecting with their clients, colleagues and communities.

 

What do we mean by ‘automated processes’? Here’s a couple of small examples:

📧 Our Applicant Tracking System automatically sending personalised screening emails to candidates with links to book an interview straight into your calendar;

🧮 Candidates completing a literacy and numeracy test which arrives in your inbox, already scored; 

📃 Care professionals filling in a short questionnaire which automatically sends a fully designed care professional profile to your inbox to share with clients and families.

Our tried-and-tested system works with you to provide and evidence quality care at home with timely reminders and updates.

At GoodOaks, our care pros work from paperless Care Plans, rather than hard copies. We use an app to sign in from their Smartphones, log information about their visit and the time they spent on the call. This ensures we receive updates on clients in real-time and can easily pick up requests and issues flagged by our care staff. This allows our staff to be more responsive and better informed quickly.

Our system is integrated with Google Maps, which allows us to calculate mileage more effectively and also allows us to work out total mileage, which we offset as part of our commitment to being a Carbon Neutral franchise. We are the first homecare franchise to hold this accreditation.

We also hold paperless personnel files and application forms and staff benefit from a Staff Handbook app, which is packed with features and information.
