We work with independent business planning partners before you sign the full franchise agreement. They work closely with you to help you develop a business plan that is robust, personal to you and your aims, and relevant to your unique franchise territory.

Starting up a homecare business, it feels as though there is a million things to think about. From insurance to stationery, and marketing to lease agreements, there are a lot of moving parts.

That’s why we developed the GOSTART Programme. It provides a blueprint of when to do what, and how to do it, and you’ll work alongside us to ensure a smooth start-up.

The aim of GOSTART is to become CQC registered with clients ready and waiting for you to start trading.

Registering with a regulator like CQC is complex and requires tens of documents, supporting evidence, interviews, and more. We support through:

🗂️ Providing all required documents, such as training matrices, statements of purpose, governance documents, multiple policies and procedures, and much more.

💡 Preparing you for the CQC interview through training, mock interviews, and 1:1 sessions.

🤝 Recruitment of your Registered Manager if required, including advertising, screening, and interviewing alongside you

Especially at start-up, every pound counts. That’s why as well as a focus on the support we provide, we are determined to ensure that buying into an ethical, premium franchise doesn’t need to cost the earth.

We’re able to keep your costs down by:

🇬🇧 Being UK-based and independent. 1-2% of your turnover doesn’t need to go straight to a US corporation through master franchise agreements.

💷 Not seeking a profit on our initial fee. Charging just what it costs us to onboard our franchise partners takes some of the pressure of them, and allows them to focus on growth.

🌳 Continuing to operate a GoodOaks office from our Support Office. This means not all our revenue is sourced from our franchise partners and keeps us focused on providing value for money.
