I’m passionate about looking after people, especially during their time of need and I believe that individuals should treat others how they would like to be treated during those moments of vulnerability. 

I got into care because I love caring for others making sure they are safe as it gives me great satisfaction knowing that I have made a positive impact in someone’s life.

I first got into the sector working as a support worker. I really enjoyed this role helping others become more independent, getting them into work or college and ultimately living in their own homes. I have learnt how a small gesture of kindness and the care and support we provide can have a huge impact on a person’s life. This led me to become a registered manager in a small care home where I was involved in all aspects of care and I absolutely loved it.
