We are delighted to share that we have made it through to the finals of the prestigious 2024 BFA HSBC UK British Franchise Awards.
The BFA, with its tag line of ‘Discover Your Tomorrow’ is widely recognised as the UK’s self-regulatory body for franchising.
After a thorough assessment of their franchise opportunity, members must abide by the association’s code of conduct, ensuring their franchise is run along professional and ethical lines. They currently have over 300 members listed on their website and GoodOaks is part of it.
Fighting for our position amongst hundreds of other entrants, we were awarded as finalists in the “Franchisor of The Year – Expanding” category.
Highlights
There are some important reasons we assure our place on this category.
Our story started in 2011 when two carers Ben and Darius decided to create a business with a difference – putting the caring people that work tirelessly to help others first. They provided exceptional service that led them franchise the business in 2016. Now have 20 franchised GoodOaks offices, covering a number of locations across the UK.
We have strong links to our community, currently working with our local university on groundbreaking training to support and improve the quality of care throughout the sector in the UK. Over the past year we’ve transformed our business by focussing on:
- Our PEOPLE – Expanding our support office to better support our growing network of franchise partners.
- Our PARTNERSHIPS – Our nationwide campaign to support family/unpaid carers and power our communities, turbocharging our franchise partners’ growth.
- Our PLANET – Continuing our efforts to minimise our impact on the planet

Winners will be announced at a gala black-tie event following the BFA’s annual conference on 7th November 2024.
