Southampton and Winchester Team aim to bring community together with new campaign.

GoodOaks Homecare in Southampton and Winchester are aiming to bring the community together with their new campaign.

The team have invested in two adverts at Southampton FC’s St Mary’s Stadium, in a bid to raise awareness about the importance of home care and what it can do to help people lead happier more independent lives.

Director Jose Rodriguez said: “We wanted to show our community the benefits of home care and also show our support for the team and the community through the new campaign. Home care is a subject we often don’t talk about or think about until it’s really necessary. It can be a tough topic to bring up, so we wanted people to see the campaign and for it to inspire those conversations about care in a different environment.

“Home care can help people live happier and more independent lives and stay in the comfort of their own homes. As we age things like cleaning, cooking and getting out and about can get harder and that’s where great carers come in. They can make life easier. They could even help you keep active and meet up with your friends to go to the football by providing help, lifts, companionship and support.”

He added: “Often people are worried about bringing up care with their loved ones, so we thought our St Mary’s Stadium campaign would be a way for people to introduce the subject in a relaxed way. We wanted to show the community we are here for them and ready to help.”

The campaign also features a sign about how people can become carers – with industry-leading rates of pay and a focus on nurturing and developing the caring people that work for them, GoodOaks Homecare believes that to give the best care, you need the best carers. Full training and mentoring are provided with support and additional training always available.
