Visiting care

GoodOaks’ visiting care professionals look after all those tasks that are becoming a struggle. They help with morning routines, housework, preparing meals, administering medication, attending doctors appointments – and they provide companionship.

Professionals you can trust

We help you remain in your own home, arranging care around your established routines, keeping disruption to a minimum. With the support of a care professional, you may be able to get out and about again – go shopping, attend social clubs and meet up with friends.

It takes a high level of trust to allow someone to care for you in your home – which is why we are thorough in undertaking checks on all care professionals. Right at the outset, you and your loved ones will be introduced to your care provider, so you can get to know one another. All our care professionals carry an identity card, and they will always knock on your door to announce their arrival. We take security issues, such as protecting key safe codes, very seriously, so your security will never be breached.

What our clients say

Visiting Homecare FAQ’s

Homecare visits are designed for people needing assistance with day to day tasks at home, but are still independent enough to stay in their own home, rather than moving to a care home. You can arrange regular care visits at a time which fits into your routine, so our care professionals can be there when you wake up to help you get dressed, or to help you with making dinner in the evening. Homecare visits are designed to be flexible, so whether you need daily or weekly visits, visiting homecare can be built around your lifestyle.

With GoodOaks Homecare, you can always be sure of a safe, secure and trustworthy service. You and your loved ones will meet with your care professional before the care begins, so you know who you will be dealing with. Each of our care professionals carries an identity card so that you can easily identify them on arrival. They always knock on your door and announce they are coming in, and they take confidentiality issues such as key safe codes incredibly seriously, so your security will never be breached. We have processes in place which ensure our care professionals know what to do if they can’t access your house, or if you have had an accident and need medical help.
