All of the carers who looked after mum did so with such kindness, compassion and professionalism not just for my mum but for all of us as a family. I felt that you were not only doing your job but that you really cared.more testimonials
“I have just spoken to H’s daughter following his passing away yesterday. During our conversation she paid tribute to the ‘marvellous’ care her dad received from Good Oaks over quite a difficult period. She told me that without exception ‘all the carers were superb’. They were ‘compassionate’, ‘caring’ and ‘thoroughly professional’, working seamlessly with the District Nurse to achieve the best palliative outcomes for her dad. The family found it a great comfort to have them around, even though the need for their visits reduced towards the end.” – Occupational Therapist
“We are so very happy with the care that Mum is receiving from GoodOaks and it’s so nice to know that Mum is in good safe hands whilst we are sorting out some of our own personal stuff.
As you know Mum’s main carers are Akvile and Klodjan and I can’t speak highly enough of them. They are very thorough with Mum’s personal care and have formed a very close relationship with her.
All the carers however are encouraging, supportive and make Mum laugh and smile. They are always happy and up-beat and nothing is ever too much trouble.
It was a daunting prospect for us when Mum came home from hospital and we knew she would need carers to come in (strangers coming into our home four times a day) but we needn’t have worried as everyone is so lovely and this quickly become part of our life and we very soon became very relaxed about it.
As I too am effectively house-bound looking after Mum, having carers come in has been up-lifting for me as when they arrive they are so jolly and happy it’s like a breathe of fresh air coming into the house.
Thanks again, we are very fortunate to have your services.”
“When I met Carers at half term I thought they were excellent. Faith also said, ‘I just love them.’ They are really kind and attentive. Dad said he is so pleased and the care Faith now receives helps him so much. I really liked the Carers I met. Dad speaks very highly of them. Please pass on a big thank you from all of us.”
“On behalf of my Mother and Sisters I would like to commend you and your staff on the performance to date. My Mother has returned to full health since being discharged from hospital. In most this has been a result of the care which she is enjoying from Good Oaks (Reading). The staff are most sincere, supportive and so kind. It really has been a great help in getting Mother back to normal.”
“Please thank Vicki for visiting yesterday. It is always reassuring to keep in touch and my mother is certainly happy with the care your team provides. It has been great to be released of some of my mothers care and has given my Wife & I the opportunity to resume a less restricted social life and even plan a holiday!! Peace of mind and friendly support at reasonable prices sums up what I have found Good Oaks delivers.”
“I want to say a huge thank you from all the family for the care you offered my mother. Your care enabled us to spend a last Christmas with her and she was able to spend time with her family around her at home.”
