Good Oaks has made a further three appointments within its Poole Home Care Office following a period of continued success, creating three completely new roles within the business.
In a key appointment, Sue Briggs has been appointed as Care Training Coordinator at Good Oaks, bringing her considerable expertise to the role, further enhancing the level of Good Oaks’ in-house training and induction programme.
As Training Coordinator, Briggs will be responsible for the inductions and training of all visiting and live-in carers, and further developing the courses to be more in-depth and specialised. She brings valuable experience of a wide variety of senior roles in the Health and Social Care sector.
Megan Seaton has been appointed as a new Care Coordinator, allowing Good Oaks to further pursue its strategy of smaller teams of carers operating in smaller geographical areas, providing better continuity and outcomes for clients and carers.
Following its policy of internal progression, Good Oaks has also appointed Sandra Vuorinen as a Live-in Care Coordinator. Sandra has worked as a Home Carer for Good Oaks since 2014, progressing to Team Leader, and latterly to her new role.
Director of Good Oaks, Ben Ashton, said: “These new appointments give Good Oaks a great base to continue providing excellent care as we grow. We are excited about the future of the business and our appointments demonstrate Good Oaks’ growing stature and ability to attract top-class social care professionals.”
