The Accolades reward adult social care organisations who deliver high quality care, providing an opportunity to recognise the great work being done in the sector.
Skills for Care visited the Good Oaks office in Poole to interview staff and observe good practice before selecting Good Oaks as the only home care provider to make it into the final four.
Skills for Care said “We received an excellent standard of entries this year, and the fact that Good Oaks have been short-listed reflects the high-quality workforce development practice detailed in your application.”
Ben Ashton, Director at Good Oaks, said: “We are absolutely delighted to reach the finals of these awards. It shows that employing caring, professional staff, and focusing on supporting and developing them is the key to providing quality care to our clients.”
“It is great to be part of an on-going good news story here at Good Oaks, especially when the care sector as a whole is in need of some good news.”
The entry is now submitted to a national panel made up of eminent individuals from the social care sector, who will meet in January to select a winner from the finalists.
