Could you be the Admiral Nurse we are looking for?

As part of an exciting new service development we are currently recruiting for an Admiral Nurse at Good Oaks Home Care Bournemouth and Poole. This is a rare opportunity as roles like this are few and far between, especially in the local area.

We are very proud to be able to offer the service of an Admiral Nurse at Good Oaks and we will become the first home care company to offer this in Bournemouth and Poole. We have seen the need for the additional support in the area and are excited to be able to invite the new candidate on board. Our brilliant carers are eager to learn and be able to improve their care for people living with dementia.

What makes an Admiral Nurse different?

An Admiral Nurse is a dementia specialist that can provide additional support to families, carers and individuals who care for someone living with dementia. They provide clinical, practical and emotional support over the phone, online or in person depending on the need of the individual.

Good Oaks are working in partnership with Dementia UK to ensure we find a caring and experienced registered nurse to represent us both in the area. We are looking for someone who is already a registered (adult / mental health / learning disability) nurse, and is passionate about providing support to both the families and carers that help people with complex needs, ensuring the guidance is tailored for the specific individual. They will have access to additional courses and a brilliant network of Admiral Nurses through Dementia UK and a supportive, dedicated team at Good Oaks. Our new dementia specialist will be a key member of the team sharing their knowledge, advising and training our carers so that they are confident they can make a difference to the lives of the individuals receiving the care.

We are excited about this new role and are looking forward to meeting the people who feel they would be suitable. We are passionate about our values: Professionalism, Respect, Integrity, Dedication and Empathy, if you share these values and are a registered nurse looking for a new challenge we would love to hear from you.
