Meet the Team
Lauren Bown-Wylie - Registered Manager
I have worked within the care sector for 7 years and am very passionate about the quality of care that is delivered within the community. We will work to deliver the highest standard of person-centred care to make a difference to people’s lives always promoting independence.
I first got into to care when one of my family members fell ill and I supported my family with looking after him, this put me on the path of care and made me realise that I wanted to take this further in my career.
I started with a company in Aylesbury working alongside some very experienced carers within the community building trusting relationships with colleagues and understanding different illnesses I would be dealing with on a day to day basis.
I worked my way up from being a carer to field care supervisor where I was meeting families and building a person-centred care plans to ensure it meets their needs.
I then was a care co-ordinator where I was a line manager to carers and allocated all care calls to carers that suited the client.
I have a lot of experience within care and will share all my knowledge and understanding to create the most enjoyable time with Good Oaks Home Care.
We look forward to delivering our service to you.
Fiza Bukhari – Director
Hello! My name is Fiza and I am the Managing Director for Good Oaks (Aylesbury).
I am very passionate about the quality of care my organisation delivers to each client, and I have made it my goal to deliver only the best experience of care for both clients and their families. Seeing what we can achieve to make a difference to our clients lives in a very positive way is a hugely rewarding experience and inspires us to continue to do better.
I strongly believe that quality care starts with the thoughtful selection process during recruitment and the proper training of each and every Good Oaks (Aylesbury) care workers. It protects and enhances the quality of our premium service – the standard of care we would all want for our own loved ones.
Social care has always been a part of my early years growing up in a family where care is provided to our own grandparents and parents by ourselves, the immediate family.
I also have had significant experience working as cabin crew for a well-known international airline. This gave me the opportunity to fully develop my customer service skills, problem-solving and communication skills and caring for individual needs.
In addition to my background in the medical and care sector, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Commerce. This provides me with a sound background in some of the general aspects of business and commercial operations.
Zara Malik – Director
Hello! My name is Zara and I am the Co-Owner of Good Oaks (Aylesbury).
My experience ranges from finance management to retirement homes and villages.
I am passionate about quality and ensuring that the individuals that we support receive the best possible service. I believe that we have a long-term commitment to providing personalised support which is meaningful to individuals, enabling them the opportunities to achieve the quality of life that they deserve.
I have had a first-hand experience caring for my ageing grandma. Her constant struggle to remember things and communicating with people has been a worry to both me and my family. Hence I and my closest friend Ms Fiza Bukhari decided to set aside our jobs and tie-up with a very reputable, reliable and professional Good Oaks Home Care franchise.
Since our shared visions and goals are the same, we put in our honest efforts in bringing about a change in people’s lives. We look forward to being at your service whenever you need us.
By opening Good Oaks (Aylesbury) we wanted to allow those people to spend time as a family member and not just as a carer. By looking after our customers like members of our own family, we allow their family members to enjoy time with their loved one whilst we take the pressure and demands of caring away from them if they so choose. By placing their trust in us, customers and their loved ones can have the confidence to enjoy a more independent lifestyle in the comfort of their own home.
